Issue box settings define who, how and in what time frame will work on Issues contained in this box. IBN enables to automate this process by defining different Issue parameters.
Issue box detection scheme is as follows. The Issue is registered in the system. If the Issue box was not defined while Issue creating, the process of autodetection runs. Rules defined for the Issue boxes are checked. If the Issue meets the rules of any Issue box, then the Issue is placed to this Issue box and processing stops. If there is no Issue box discovered (Issue parameters do not satisfy any rules), the Issue is placed into default Issue box.
You can use three types of expressions: “variable”, “block” and “function” in the rules description.
