Though the current alert system is pretty powerful, it doen't allow for flexible tracking of files changes.
As a manager I've got a big project with a lot of team members and plenty of files in the project library. The porblem is that I can set the notification system in two states only: either I got an alert once any file is updated, or I don't get any alerts regarding file changes. While I would like to be notified when just some files (the ones that I'm interested in) are updated: kind of subscription. Ideally, it would be great to check the needed files and press a button in the "Actions" menu.
Similar thing can probably be done also with files in global library.
Hey Marek, thanks for your feedback. In your case you can switch off "new file" notifications for project (Click on your name in right corner - system notifications) and ask project team members write new comment with updating file your interesting in.
