Is there any way to customize the left menu? Namely, I need to hide for a while some LM blocks. Ideally, for one user role, but even for everyone would be ok now.

If you're working with 4.7.45 version, you can use portal profiles in order to customize the left menu (administrator rights are required).
Go to "Administration - Info & Appearance - Portal Profiles" . Open the "Left Menu Customization" tab and create a new profile with the help of "New Entity" button. Type the profile name and click "Save". Check the boxes opposite the blocks that you want to hide and then use "Hide" button. Open "Users" tab and select those users who will use this profile (use "Add Item" button). You can select yourself, for instance. The profile will be applied to the selected users after their next login to the portal.
Thanks, that's exactly what I need. I just didn't find this info in the Administration Guide.
True, there is no info about profiles in the Admin Guide so far. This is a relatively new feature, so we will update the doc soon.
